Metro Machining in Campbellfield, Melbourne, seeks a trade-qualified boilermaker with strong fabrication skills to join the fab floor and line boring team. You’ll weld, bore, pin and bush components, and sometimes work on site for heavy repairs across mining and industrial gear.

You’ll collaborate directly with owners, set methods, and move from casual to permanent as workload grows, with penalties for overtime and a site rate when working off-site.

Formación

• Trade-qualified boilermaker with fabrication experience.
• Ability to read drawings or rough sketches and plan prep.
• Comfort working on heavy repairs for mining and industrial gear.

Responsabilidades

• Weld brackets, housings and attachments on site and in shop.
• Perform line boring prep, bore checks and fitting operations.
• Work with owners on fabrication methods and repair sequences.
• Assist line borers and machinists when needed.
