Job summary

Pilbara Minerals is seeking a Boilermaker to maintain our fleet of mobile equipment across the Pilbara region. This permanent full-time role operates on an 8/6 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO, with duties including fabrication, welding repairs, and planned maintenance to maximise uptime and protect company assets.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years post-trade mine site experience, strong safety culture, and a proactive approach to collaboration in a demanding open-cut mining

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-trade mine site exposure.
• Strong safety culture and open-cut mining awareness.
• Ability to work as a productive crew member and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fabrication and welding repair maintenance on heavy mining equipment.
• Perform bucket inspections and create detailed notifications for future repairs.
• Conduct GET inspections on mining fleet (Buckets/Blades/Bodies).
• Work towards increasing equipment reliability and availability.
• Follow maintenance schedules and assess unplanned repairs.
• Participate in safety meetings and feedback on issues raised.
