JBS Townsville is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our Maintenance Team in a full-time role. You will perform fabrication, welding and repairs across the site, interpreting drawings and completing planned maintenance to keep plant equipment reliable.

About the Role

JBS Townsville is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our Maintenance Team in a full-time position. You'll play an important role in maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure our operations continue running safely and efficiently.

In this hands-on role, you'll carry out a variety of fabrication, welding and repair work across the facility, helping to maintain the reliability and performance of plant equipment and structural assets. You'll be responsible for interpreting drawings and measurements, completing planned maintenance activities and responding to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime. Working closely with the wider Maintenance Team, you'll support preventative maintenance and reliability initiatives while consistently demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality and workmanship.

• Starting at $37.67 per hour + penalties

About You

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator
• Strong welding and metal fabrication experience
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industry environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, motivated, and proactive attitude
• Experience working with stainless steel fabrication and food-grade equipment (desirable)
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety requirements in a processing environment (desirable)
