Job description

We are currently seeking a Boiler Maker / Welder to join our growing team in Brooklyn.

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing heavy earthmoving attachments, arc air gouging, shrink welding bushes, repairing cracks in heavy Bisalloy steel, building up pulveriser teeth and surfaces for machining, hard facing and general welding in our workshop.

There will also be some fitting involved, removing parts to be repaired, also helping out the fitters in the workshop.

A knowledge or background in earthmoving repair work will be an advantage.

Position Details

The position offered is permanent full time, with on the job training provided, overalls and work boots supplied.
