Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an experienced Underground Bogger Operator for our Mungari Operations. Based at Mungari, you will operate underground loaders/boggers across development and production areas, ensuring safe, efficient material movement and high productivity.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in underground mining, with at least 2 years on underground loaders/boggers and familiarity with Sandvik 517i.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ underground mining experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience operating underground loaders/boggers, pref with Sandvik 517i.
• Proven commitment to safety and safe work practices in underground environments.
• Strong understanding of underground mine services, road maintenance and general mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Keep production moving by safely bogging ore and waste from development headings, stockpiles and loading locations.
• Maximise equipment performance through regular inspections and reporting faults to minimise downtime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve productivity and underground operating practices.
• Lead by example on safety, follow procedures and maintain high housekeeping standards underground.

As an Underground Bogger Operator at Mungari, you'll play a critical role in keeping the mine moving, operating across development and production areas while working with a highly experienced underground team. Based at our Mungari Operations and reporting to the Mining Shift Supervisor, you'll:

• Keep production moving by safely bogging ore and waste from development headings, stockpiles and loading locations to support the underground mining cycle.
• Maximise equipment performance through regular inspections, identifying issues early and reporting equipment faults to minimise downtime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and underground operating practices.
• Lead by example when it comes to safety, following procedures, identifying hazards and maintaining strong housekeeping standards underground.

This role is a 7:7 roster FIFO from Perth or Residential from Kalgoorlie

• At least 2 years’ experience operating underground loaders/boggers. Pref with RCT or remote experience. Experience highly regarded with Sandvik 517i series.
• Proven commitment to safety and safe work practices in an underground environment.

• Ability to identify hazards, follow procedures and maintain high workplace standards.
• Sound communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
