Job summary

Keppel Bay Marina is seeking a motivated boat yard hand to join a growing team that services and repairs vessels arriving at Keppel Bay Marina and migrates along the East Coast. The role involves hull preparation, antifouling, and Propspeed applications, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are team players who can follow procedures, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in boat maintenance, paint application or fibre glassing is advantageous but not essential.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently as directed.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Physically capable for demanding work and good fitness.
• Relocation or accommodation support may be provided.

SEEKING MOTIVATED BOAT YARD HAND, WITH THE POTENTIAL TO GROW.

Keppel Bay Boatyard is looking for a capable person to be a part of a growing team to service and repair for the maintenance needed of boats in Keppel Bay Marina, and migrating vessels.

With increasing demand of vessels coming into the marina alongside our beautiful coastline and migrating throughout the East Coast cruising season this we are expanding our team to cater.

Vessel servicing projects generally include.

• Hull preparation and Antifouling.
• Propspeed application.
• Replacing anodes.

The prime candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, with proven attention to detail and able to follow direction and correct procedures for material application.

Experience in Boat Maintenance, Paint Application and/or Fibre glassing is an advantage, but not essential.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong team player qualities as well as the ability to work independently as directed with being open to learning new skills along the way.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and respond appropriately to shifting priorities.

Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
