The Wangaratta Livestock Exchange Committee of Management seeks experienced governance professionals to help guide the strategic direction of a key regional livestock facility in North East Victoria.

As a Committee Member you will work with the General Manager and Rural City of Wangaratta to ensure safe, sustainable operations and strong financial stewardship, while engaging with stakeholders and the broader community.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance or board/committee roles.
• Strong financial governance and risk oversight能力.
• Strategic thinking and sound judgement in governance contexts.
• Good communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for the Committee.
• Support sound financial management and long-term sustainability.
• Contribute to governance, risk management and compliance.
• Support and guide the General Manager.
• Act as liaison with the Rural City of Wangaratta.
• Collaborate to make informed strategic decisions.
• Ensure decisions serve the WLE, stakeholders and community.
