Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation (Automated Logic) in Brisbane is seeking a BMS Technician to gain hands-on experience with BMCS/DDC systems. You’ll be supported by senior engineers while developing skills across commissioning, servicing, and system optimisation.

Qualifications

• Qualification in HVAC, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Building Management Systems or HVAC.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills; exposure to MS Office or programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, preventative maintenance, and commissioning of BMCS/DDC control systems.
• Support software configuration, testing, calibration, and basic programming.
• Work closely with senior technicians and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Help ensure all site work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Contribute to documentation, reporting, and project coordination.
• Participate in site meetings, safety briefings, and ongoing training.
• Provide support to customers and internal teams when required.
