Job summary
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced BMS Service Technician to join our South Australian team. This full-time field-based role supports defence and commercial sites, ensuring critical building systems operate safely and efficiently.
You will perform maintenance, fault-finding, and system upgrades across BMS, HVAC controls, and energy management, while collaborating with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in BMS, HVAC controls, building automation or related service environments.
- Relevant qualifications in HVAC, Electrical, Controls, Automation, or Building Services.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and fault-finding on Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Service and troubleshoot HVAC and lighting controls, energy management systems.
- Diagnose and repair BMS hardware, software, and communication issues.
- Work with IT/IP-based control networks.
- Prepare quotations and implement system upgrades, enhancements, and modifications.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers and facility managers.
- Complete service documentation and maintain records.
- Collaborate with technical support teams and project stakeholders.
