Responsibilities

  • Perform abrasive blasting (sand, grit, shot, or media) to remove rust, scale, paint and contaminants.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, sanding, and priming as required.
  • Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers.
  • Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect surfaces before and after blasting and painting to ensure quality.

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career,trainingand business opportunities.

About the Role

Join our team as an experienced Painter Blasters on the Perdaman Project in Karratha. We are looking for someone with 4+ years' hands on experience in construction environments. This position offers a 2:1 roster (14 days on, 7 days off) withPerth as the point of hire.

Performabrasive blasting (sand, grit, shot, or other media) to remove rust, scale, paint, and contaminant

Preparesurfaces by cleaning, masking, sanding, and priming asrequired

Applyindustrial coatings using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers

Mixpaints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications

Inspectsurfaces before and after blasting and painting to ensure quality standards are met

Operateandmaintainblasting and painting equipment

Followjob specifications, blueprints, and coating system requirements

Complywithall safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations

Maintain a clean and organized work area

What you will bring to the team:

A relevant Trade Certificate and Construction White/Blue Card

Working at Heights, High Risk Work License (EWP) and Confined Space

Ability tooperateblasting equipment, spray guns, and air compressors

Previous experience working FIFO/ Mining/ Construction or Project based environments will be highly regarded

Hold a current Australian Driver's License

Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening

Must have full working rights in Australia
