Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Blast & Paint Supervisor to support West Pilbara Operations. This casual FIFO role from Perth will supervise blast and paint works on Rio Tinto fixed plant assets, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to high quality standards.

You’ll lead a field crew, liaise with client representatives and QA/QC personnel, and manage Inspect Test Plans and related welding documents.

Qualifications

• Australian Qualified Trade Certificate is essential.
• NACE, CSWIIP or other QA/QC tickets are highly desirable.
• S26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate is highly desirable.
• 2-5 years experience in a site supervision role within Iron Ore industry.
• Experience with Structural Integrity Projects is desirable.
• Sound knowledge of RTIO standards and procedures.
• Developed communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate your team effectively with a focus on safety.
• Full Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the blast and paint crew working on Rio Tinto Fixed Plant Assets.
• Acting as a first point of call for our blue collar employees.
• Providing effective guidance and support for all blast and paint techniques.
• Liaising between client representatives and QA/QC personnel.
• Assistance with managing Inspect Test Plans, Field Inspection Check sheets and welding related documents.
• Ensuring all welding tasks are completed in accordance with industry standards.
