Monadelphous Group is seeking a Paint and Blast Supervisor for our North West operations in Port Hedland to lead welding and coating crews on major iron ore sites. You will plan, supervise and conduct high-risk shutdown and maintenance works on fixed plant assets, ensuring safety and client specifications.

You will develop JHAs, SWIs and permits, coordinate shutdown activities and mentor on-site teams while maintaining a strong safety culture in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the iron ore or mining industry.
• Must hold S26 Supervisor Certificate or be able to obtain one.
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Strong safety leadership and team development focus.
• Experience with fixed plant maintenance or projects.

Monadelphous Mining and Minerals North West is currently seeking experienced Paint and Blast Supervisors to join our growing team in Port Hedland. This role will see you leading welding and coatings crews across major iron ore operations, delivering high risk shutdown and maintenance works on fixed plant and bulk materials handling assets. You will play a key role in planning, supervising and executing complex mechanical changeouts, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to client specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated supervisor looking to further develop their leadership, shutdown delivery and project management skills while working with industry leading clients.

Key Responsibilities:

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the iron ore or mining industry
• Relevant client site experience is desirable
• Strong background in fixed plant asset maintenance or projects
• Dedication to the safety, well-being and future development of your team
• Must hold s26 Supervisor Certificate (or have the capacity to obtain one)
• Proof of right to work in Australia
• Senior First Aid, Working at Heights, Basic Fire and Confined Space Certifications (desirable)
