Job summary

The Kirby Institute at UNSW Sydney invites applications for a Research Fellow (Biostatistician) to lead statistical analysis of national linked health data and contribute to high-impact publications.

Based in Kensington, Sydney, you will design, document and report analyses, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop advanced methods for surveillance and administrative datasets in a world-leading health research environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience.
• Experience in managing and analyzing linked health data and producing statistical analysis plans.
• Proven track record of publications and conference presentations.
• Ability to undertake independent research with limited supervision and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, analyze and report using linked and surveillance health data.
• Apply advanced analytical methods to large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Draft and finalise study concept sheets, SAPs, code, data visualisations, manuscripts and reports.
• Present findings to diverse audiences.
