Job summary

AUSVEG is seeking a Biosecurity Program Coordinator to lead the Farm Biosecurity Program across Australia. The role involves coordinating activities with Plant Health Australia and stakeholders, delivering workshops, and producing communications that support industry biosecurity readiness.

The successful candidate will engage researchers, growers and government partners, traveling nationally and contributing to program strategy while reporting to the National Manager – Biosecurity and Extension.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Agricultural Science or related discipline.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Farm Biosecurity Program in line with targets and strategy.
  • Engage with researchers, agronomists, growers and industry experts to improve biosecurity outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver program communications, resources, and workshop materials.
  • Monitor progress and report on milestones to the National Manager.
