Job summary

Electrical Testing Services (ETS) Brisbane is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to conduct routine inspection and electrical safety testing of hospital equipment in clinical settings across Queensland. Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher qualifications in biomedical engineering or electrical engineering preferred.
• Experience with AS/NZS 3551 standards and medical equipment safety testing.
• Ability to accurately document testing results and equipment defects.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across regions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection and electrical safety testing of biomedical equipment in healthcare settings.
• Test a broad range of medical devices including patient monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps and hospital beds.
• Utilise biomedical testing equipment and interprete test results to ensure compliance.
• Identify defects and safety concerns, providing clear corrective recommendations.
• Complete testing records and service reports in company systems with accuracy.
• Coordinate testing activities with healthcare staff to minimise disruption to clinical operations.
• Maintain calibration and proper use of testing equipment and stay compliant with quality requirements.
• Collaborate with national teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
