Job summary

Ramsay Health Care is seeking a Biomedical Engineering cyber risk professional to join our team at Head Office Sydney (St Leonards Park NSW).

You will bring a degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent, plus 1–3 years in cybersecurity, healthcare technology risk management, and familiarity with IoT in clinical settings.

This role emphasizes planning workload, strong communication, and collaboration across Biomedical Engineering, Procurement, Clinical Governance, Risk Management, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, clinical services or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• Understanding of clinical and healthcare environment.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, biomedical/clinical engineering, or healthcare technology risk management.
• Ability to plan and coordinate workload effectively.
• Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the security aspects of biomedical/medical IoT devices and their integration in clinical settings.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, vulnerability management platforms.
• Basic knowledge of vulnerability scanners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with Biomedical Engineering, Procurement, Clinical Governance, Risk Management, and Legal stakeholders.
