Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a hands-on Collections Assistant to join our team at Mt Kuring-gai in NSW. You'll support residential and commercial bin collections, assist with hard waste picks, and work outdoors in all weather, under a strong safety culture.

This full-time permanent role offers early starts (3:15am or 4:00am), opportunities for progression into bin delivery and driving pathways, and benefits including PPE, uniform, and health insurance discounts.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull and manoeuvre bins and hard waste items.
• Physically capable of repetitive truck entry and exit throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Residential and commercial bin collections.
• Council hard waste collections.
• Pulling and manoeuvring kerbside bins (up to 20kg).
• Lifting and loading hard waste items.
• Repeatedly getting in and out of the truck.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions (PPE and uniform provided).

About the Role
