Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a BIM-focused role.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and BIM 360.
• Autodesk Revit Professional Certification is preferred.

Role Overview

We are seeking someone who has strong technical skills with expertise in leading best practice in BIM implementation. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic drafter / modeler / documenter or experienced graduate of architecture who has a passion for driving BIM implementation, producing high quality construction documentation and collaborating within the team to deliver a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation Delivery
Implement technical skills and provide sound construction knowledge from initial concept inception through to construction on site.

BIM Implementation Strategy & Technology Management:
Develop and oversee the execution of BIM strategies, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry best practices.
Manage BIM-related software and hardware resources, ensuring optimal performance and up-to-date systems.

Team Coordination & Collaboration:
Collaborate with project teams to facilitate BIM integration throughout all project phases, ensuring documentation can be coordinated to a high standard between the design team.

Standards & Protocols:
Establish and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and protocols in accordance with ISO 19650 and other relevant guidelines.

Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency of BIM models and documentation. Assist in ensuring effective BIM coordination with external consultants.

Training & Development:
Conduct internal training sessions and provide ongoing support to staff to enhance BIM proficiency across the studio.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree or Masters in Architecture or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a BIM-focused role within the architecture industry.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup and BIM 360.

Strong understanding of BIM standards, including ISO 19650.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Autodesk Revit Professional Certification.

Experience with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).

Familiarity with interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
