Austin Health is seeking a Billing Administrator for the Radiology and Molecular Imaging & Therapy Departments. This full-time fixed term (maternity leave cover) position is onsite and based in Melbourne.

A regular day includes routine billing transactions, timely billing, and accurate record checking. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

About the Radiology Department

Austin Radiology Department provides services to patients of Austin Health and the surrounding community.These include but are not limited to X rays, Ultrasounds, MRI scans, CT scans and surgical procedures.

The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service comprises all Nuclear Medicine modalities and embraces the Bone Densitometry service located at the Repatriation campus. The breadth of Nuclear Medicine services is extensive and includes an on-site Cyclotron with comprehensive Radiochemistry and radio-pharmaceutical production facilities. Both departments have strong research involvement with close associations with the Olivia Newton John Cancer Research Institute.

About the role

The billing administrator role supports patient focused billing for the Radiology and Molecular Imaging & Therapy Departments. The role works as a part of a supportive team to provide high-quality billing services.
