Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the curriculum and ability to model exemplary teaching practice.
• Expertise in high‑impact teaching strategies that respond to student learning needs.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning and use data to inform teaching practice.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, colleagues and parents.
• Knowledge/experience in teaching literacy and numeracy in a bilingual context and advocating bilingual education.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating high-level expertise in teaching and learning practices.
• Model classroom practice through teaching demonstration lessons.
• Work with school leadership to develop a shared view of effective teacher practice.
• Lead and model whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
• Provide professional learning and feedback processes for staff and peer collaboration.
• Mentor and coach teachers using evidence-based feedback and data to drive growth.
