Adecco Group's client in Australia seeks an experienced Factory Manager to oversee manufacturing operations, with strong Japanese and English communication to liaise with the overseas parent. The role emphasizes procurement, compliance, budgeting, and stakeholder collaboration.

You will lead daily factory activities, drive continuous improvement, manage supplier relations, and ensure WHS and regulatory compliance while reporting to global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement experience in housing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of parent-company operations and markets.
• Business-level Japanese and English proficiency; ability to communicate technically with local counterparts.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day factory operations including process improvement and coordination.
• Develop and implement operational plans to meet budgets, forecasts and policy objectives.
• Oversee purchasing, supplier base, supplier costs and performance.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, quality standards, and Work Health and Safety obligations.
• Support budgeting, financial controls, cost allocation, reporting and forecasting.
• Maintain clear communication with overseas stakeholders and prepare operational reports for the parent organisation.
• Review local and international trends affecting Australian operations.
• Lead and develop staff and external personnel while maintaining professional stakeholder relationships.
