Core Talent is seeking a Bid Manager to drive the commercial fit-out tender process from opportunity through submission. Based in Cronulla, NSW, you will own the end-to-end bid lifecycle, coordinate internal teams and external consultants, and ensure submissions are compliant, compelling and on time.

The role offers up to AU$140k, with a collaborative leadership team and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in bid management within construction, fit out or related industries.
• Proven experience managing complex tenders from opportunity assessment through to submission.
• Strong understanding of GC21 contracts and associated risks.
• Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills with high attention to detail.

Bid Manager – Commercial Fit Out

Cronulla, NSW up to $140k

We're working with a well-established commercial fit out contractor who are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join their growing team and take ownership of the tender function.

With a strong pipeline of secured work and a collaborative leadership team, this is an opportunity to work on complex projects while playing a key role in shaping future project wins. You'll work closely with the Director and senior leaders and delivery teams to develop high-quality submissions that genuinely reflect the business's capability and approach.

About the Role

This is an end-to-end bid management position, taking ownership of the entire tender process—from identifying opportunities and developing bid strategies through to submission and post-tender reviews.

You'll collaborate across estimating, operations and project delivery to coordinate technical, commercial and programme information, ensuring every submission is compliant, competitive and professionally presented.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full tender lifecycle across EOIs, RFQs, RFTs and other procurement submissions.
• Develop bid strategies aligned with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants and subcontractors to produce high-quality submissions.
• Review tender documentation, contracts and specifications to identify risks and key deliverables.
• Prepare compelling written responses and supporting documentation.
• Manage multiple concurrent bids while meeting strict submission deadlines.
• Maintain and improve capability statements, project case studies and bid content libraries.
• Analyse tender outcomes and implement continuous improvements.
• Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and industry stakeholders.
• Work with GC21 contract frameworks.

About You

• 4+ years' experience in bid management within construction, fit out or a related industry.
• Proven experience managing complex tenders from opportunity assessment through to submission.
• Strong understanding of GC21 contracts.
• Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify contractual risks.
• Confident working closely with operational teams to translate technical information into compelling submissions.
• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing deadlines.
