Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Sydney, Australia, seeks a food science student or graduate for a part-time laboratory role, carrying out microbiological and analytical testing of beverage samples. Flexibility for midweek shifts and a car are required due to site location.

You will support HACCP and GMP compliance, assist with internal GMP audits, and report on NCRs. Calibration of lab instruments and ensuring a clean, orderly workspace are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or currently studying.
• Car required due to location.
• Experience in a QA/QC role in a busy food environment is valued.
• HACCP/GMP/GLP knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Microbiological and analytical testing of beverage samples.
• Ensure HACCP and GMP compliance by monitoring manufacturing.
• Conduct internal GMP audits as required.
• Reporting and actioning on NCRs.
• Calibration of laboratory instruments daily and maintain cleanliness.
