Job summary

Belleview Kitchens in Melbourne is seeking an experienced joinery professional to lead from design through to production documentation for bespoke kitchens, wardrobes and related joinery packages for high-end homes.

You will develop detailed shop drawings and production drawings, prepare estimates, and liaise with builders, architects and clients to ensure designs are accurate and manufacture-ready. CabMaster experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in joinery drafting or related field.
• Strong cabinet construction knowledge.
• Proven experience producing detailed joinery drawings.
• CabMaster experience essential.
• Strong estimating and quoting experience.
• Experience with high-end residential or bespoke homes.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate shop drawings and production drawings for bespoke residential joinery.
• Produce plans, elevations, sections, details and construction drawings for manufacture.
• Interpret architectural drawings, interior design documentation and specifications.
• Prepare accurate estimates, quotations and material take-offs for custom joinery projects.
• Measure and price cabinetry, hardware, finishes and accessories.
• Review drawings to identify design, dimensional and manufacturing issues before production.
• Liaise with builders, architects, interior designers, clients, suppliers and installers.
• Collaborate with factory and production team to ensure designs are practical and built correctly.
