Job summary

Bundy Berries Pty Ltd in Sharon, Queensland seeks an experienced Farm Supervisor for its berry and tomato operations. The role requires on-site leadership of labour, including contractors, covering planting, maintenance and harvesting across seasons.

You will train and supervise crews, maintain time and data records, report volumes and quality to management, and ensure compliance with quality specs. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position with early starts during certain seasons.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years on-farm experience with strawberry, raspberry and snack tomato crops.
• At least 3 years managing crews of planters and pickers.
• Hands-on experience with data recording systems for piece-work workers.
• Proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of workers during seasonal peaks.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and direct farm labour force across the year.
• Consult with Farm Manager and crop Directors on tasks to undertake.
• Keep records of tasks by casual workers and explain requirements when needed.
• Respond promptly to service issues with effective system and technical solutions.
• Provide regular harvest updates on volumes and quality to management.
