Job summary

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Benefits Management Specialist to support a large-scale transformation program in Australia. You’ll focus on managing program benefits, risks, issues and dependencies, strengthening governance and reporting to enable informed decision-making.

This is a contract role until 30 June 2027. You’ll work with senior leaders, delivery teams and stakeholders, driving benefits realisation and continuous improvement across program management practices in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in benefits management, risk management or program governance within large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of program and project management principles, including benefits realisation and dependency management.
• Experience developing benefits frameworks, management plans, registers and executive governance reporting.
• Proven ability to analyse complex information and provide evidence-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program benefits frameworks, risk and issue registers, dependency registers and governance documentation.
• Lead benefits identification, measurement, reporting and realisation tracking across a large-scale transformation program.
• Identify, assess and monitor program risks, issues and dependencies, recommending mitigation strategies.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards and governance updates to support strategic decision-making.
• Facilitate workshops with program leaders, delivery teams and stakeholders to identify and manage risks and opportunities.
• Integrate benefits, risks and dependencies into program planning, business cases and assurance activities.
• Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders and support escalation and resolution of complex issues.
• Coach and mentor program teams to strengthen governance, risk management and benefits realisation practices.

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Management & Risk Specialist to support a large-scale transformation program. This role will focus on managing program benefits, risks, issues and dependencies, strengthening governance and reporting, and supporting informed decision-making to achieve successful program outcomes.

Working closely with senior leaders, delivery teams and key stakeholders, you will play an important role in driving benefits realisation, identifying emerging risks and supporting continuous improvement across program management practices.

This is a contract role until 30 June 2027.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain program benefits frameworks, risk and issue registers, dependency registers and governance documentation.
• Lead benefits identification, measurement, reporting and realisation tracking across a large-scale transformation program.
• Identify, assess and monitor program risks, issues and dependencies, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards and governance updates to support strategic decision-making.
• Facilitate workshops with program leaders, delivery teams and stakeholders to identify and manage emerging risks and opportunities.
• Integrate benefits, risks and dependencies into program planning, business cases, delivery roadmaps and assurance activities.
• Support the alignment of benefits management practices with scaled agile delivery methodologies.
• Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders and support the timely escalation and resolution of complex issues.
• Monitor agreed actions and risk treatments to ensure accountability and timely resolution.
• Coach and mentor program teams to strengthen governance, risk management and benefits realisation practices.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience in benefits management, risk management or program governance within large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of program and project management principles, including benefits realisation, risk mitigation and dependency management.
• Experience developing benefits frameworks, management plans, registers and executive governance reporting.
• Proven ability to analyse complex information, identify emerging risks and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with senior executives, delivery teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills.
• Experience working within established governance, assurance and quality-control frameworks.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgement in complex program environments.
• Experience working in agile technology delivery environments, ideally with exposure to SAFe methodologies.
• Relevant qualifications in project management, risk management, governance, business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• Australian Citizenship and an active AGSVA Baseline security clearance are required.
