Job summary

Australian Crushing and Belting Group Pty Ltd – Caboolture QLD is seeking Belt Splicers. We would consider candidates from other trades willing to retrain on the job to learn our proven methods and techniques.

Based at our Caboolture facility, you will work with sales, service and workshop teams to prepare and install conveyor belts, with on-the-job training and career development. Competitive hourly rates, overtime opportunities, and a dynamic team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Be trade qualified (or have an adjacent trade who could adapt to conveyor belts).
• Have experience of belt preparation, hot and cold splicing and clips and fasteners.
• Have conveyor belt installation and maintenance experience.
• Be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing (random).
• Show strong safety standards and be willing to work well in a small team environment.
• Be physically fit.
• Be prepared to travel and work remotely.
• Have a current driver's license
• Have a forklift ticket (optional)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and install conveyor belts to provide customers with a superior, fast, high-quality service.
• Work with our sales, service and workshop teams to ensure effective belt installations.
• Receive technical and product training and contribute to continuous improvement.

Conveyor Belts Australia, a member of the Australian Crushing and Belting Group are seeking Belt Splicers. We would consider candidates from other trades who are prepared to retrain on the job and learn our proven methods and techniques.

We are an Australian owned company with headquarters North of Brisbane. We focus on installing, maintaining and servicing conveyors for mining, quarrying and recycling plant and machinery. The group has been in business since 2009 and continues to grow each year. We have offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. This opportunity is for a permanent role, based at our Caboolture facility.

Due to growth we are seeking new team members to ensure we continue to deliver high levels of service efficiency to our customers. In this role you will work with our sales, service and workshop teams to prepare and install conveyor belts to provide customers with a superior, fast, high-quality service. You will also be supported with technical and product training. As a progressive company we are always looking to develop our staff.
