Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is seeking a Bell Desk Supervisor to guide and inspire the Porter and Valet team, ensuring seamless arrivals and departures and delivering memorable, personalized service. You will manage luggage, valet services, and partner relations across shifts in a luxury setting.

As the guiding presence, you will coordinate VIP arrivals, promote hotel experiences, and contribute to an elegant guest journey with attention to detail and exemplary presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end customer service.
• Experience leading Porters and Valets.
• Valid Australian Driver's License and working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Porters and Valet team, coordinating daily activities, VIP arrivals, and special events.
• Manage luggage handling, valet services, and property movements with care and precision.
• Assist guests with recommendations and promote hotel experiences to enhance stays.
• Maintain a polished Porter's storeroom and collaborate across hotel departments.

Qualifications

You bring experience in luxury hospitality or high-end customer service, with the leadership skills to guide and inspire Porters and Valets, ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable. Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing operations with elegance and efficiency. Confident and polished, you communicate effortlessly with guests and colleagues, demonstrating impeccable presentation and professional demeanor. Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, you bring knowledge of hotel procedures, valet operations, and local attractions to enhance every guest interaction. You hold a valid Australian Driver's License and full Australian working rights, allowing you to work with us without restriction.
