Behaviour Support Practitioner - Psychologist

Qualifications

AHPRA registration

Membership with professional body

Working with Children Check

Victorian Police Check

Experience in your field (preferred but not essential)

Working Hours

• Full time OR Part time options available.
• We are open from 8AM to 8PM Monday to Friday & 8AM to 6PM on Saturday
• You are able to select the working hours that suit you best
• Maternity role with option to continue permanently
• Flexible working hours and arrangements available

What you will do:

Provide therapeutic sessions to referred clients using evidence-based interventions

Develop tailored treatment plans for referred clients using prior knowledge and research skills

Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) across home, school, and community environments

Undertake formulations for motivators of behaviours of concern

Liaise with external stakeholders

Develop and implement Comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines

Work collaboratively with clients, families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams

Collect and analyse behavioural data

Provide staff training and develop training resources

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and evidence-based practice
