  • Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths
  • Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners
Benefits for you
  • PD opportunities (in-house) - regular and ongoing professional development sessions + in-house leadership development programs
  • Supervision – paired with a dedicated supervisor for 1 hour of weekly 1:1 supervision
  • Career progression – opportunities to ‘step up’ into supervisory and leadership roles
  • Salary - above award rate of pay
  • Flexibility – full-time or part-time position, varied work hours to suit different lifestyles, and flexible work environments
  • Lifestyle and our beautiful surroundings – suburban setting within easy access to Sydney CBD, beaches, wineries, galleries, waterfalls, bush walking trails, country markets, camping… what more could you want!
  • Vibrant team – passion for inspiring, empowering and supporting both participants and each other
  • Diverse clinical caseloads – develop and expand upon your skills across all age groups in a range of settings
  • Volunteering – giving back to local communities (i.e. ‘Clinic for Good’)
  • Other perks as an employee of a company which belongs to the MedHealth group, discounts on private health insurance and travel, access to a FREE Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a 'Fitness Passport' program, salary packaging (including novated leasing) and much more!
