Our team of consultants provide various types of support and interventions to children and young people; people with a disability; and people who have mental health support needs, their families, and the organisations and government departments that support them. This includes:

  • Clinical Support,
  • Behaviour Support,
  • Clinical Supervision,
  • A range of assessments,
  • Therapy,
  • Health and Allied Health Services,
  • Training and Organisational Practice and Professional Development.

Our team create strong, collaborative relationships with individuals and organisations through communication and working together as this plays an integral part in SAL Consulting's practice and ethos. SAL Consulting is a leader in the field of neurodevelopment, attachment and a trauma-informed (NATI ©) practice, an accredited provider of Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) through the Child Trauma Academy in the USA, an accredited NDIS Provider, and a Registered Training Organisation.

Our work includes working with a diverse population, including providing support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families.

We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role is open to practitioners from a range of disciplines – including Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Educators. We are particularly interested in hearing from Psychologists looking to apply their clinical skills in a community-based, systems-focused setting.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely motivated to create meaningful, lasting change in people’s lives. You’ll work alongside care teams, families, and the systems that support them to implement real, evidence-based interventions in real-world settings.

If you’re a practitioner who has been wondering whether there’s more than the therapy room and whether you could apply your assessment, intervention design, and therapeutic skills more broadly, more systemically, and more collaboratively – this role was built for you.
