Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking an Outside School Hours Care Educator to support children in Nunawading, VIC. You will help run before school, after school, and holiday programs, fostering learning, safety and positive relationships within the school community.

Ideal candidates bring enthusiasm for childcare, a willingness to study or have a Diploma, and valid checks. The role includes onboarding and ongoing training with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Child Protection Early Childhood Learning Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 6:30 am-9:00 am & 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program.
• Take part in daily activities for primary-aged children.
• Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
