Job summary

Kingswim, affiliated with YMCA Victoria, is offering a pathway to become a qualified swim teacher. You’ll start as a teacher-in-training and earn while you learn, with structured mentoring and paid training hours.

Flexible shifts around study or family commitments, a fun team environment at a pool, and opportunities to grow leadership skills are part of the role. If you love helping people, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• Great energy and reliability.
• Basic swimming ability and confidence in the water.
• A love of working with children.
• Availability for one afternoon or weekend shift each week.
• Be 16 or over.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and build confidence in students.
• Lead lessons with a focus on safety in the water.
• Support mentors and complete training hours.
• Attend one afternoon or weekend shift per week.
