Job summary

The Brazilian Hut is seeking an experienced Senior Beauty Therapist for our Mooloolaba salon. You will perform a range of beauty services with a focus on Brazilian waxing, brows and lashes, in a busy, supportive team environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Beauty Therapy, have at least 2 years post-qualification experience, and can commit to a full-time, fixed roster with evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Beauty Therapy
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience working in a professional salon or spa
• Strong waxing experience
• Confidence performing beauty services independently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon
• Professional presentation and a positive team attitude
• Commitment to a permanent full-time position

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment flow and maintain efficient service timing
• Deliver consistently high standards of client care
• Contribute to and meet service and retail sales targets

Services & Responsibilities

You will be required to confidently perform a range of beauty services, including:

• Full body waxing for women and men
• Brazilian waxing
• Brow shaping and brow makeovers
• Brow lamination
• Lash lifts
• Tinting, hybrid dye and henna
• Threading
• Client consultation and aftercare
• Retail product recommendations and sales

There will also be opportunities to train in and provide additional beauty and wellness services, including:

• LED treatments
• Skin needling
• Skin lightening services

Senior Therapist Responsibilities

Roster

This is a FULL-TIME position and is not suitable for applicants seeking part-time or casual employment.

The successful applicant must be available for:

• A permanent fixed full-time roster
• Permanent evening shifts on rostered days
• Rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts
