Job summary

Skin and Laser Studio in St Leonards, NSW is seeking a Skin Therapist/Laser Therapist for a casual role with potential to move into full-time. You will perform laser and beauty therapies for a loyal client base in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Based in St Leonards NSW 2065, you will deliver high-quality treatments, maintain strict hygiene, and document progress while participating in ongoing training to advance your career in beauty and laser therapy.

Qualifications

• Diploma in beauty therapy, laser therapy, or qualifications in dermal and laser therapy.
• Current certification or accreditation in laser safety and operation, or willingness to obtain this certification.
• 2 years experience administering laser treatments and/or beauty therapies in a professional salon or clinic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make clients feel comfortable and valued.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and health and safety compliance.
• Ability to work flexibly and reliably on a casual basis, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A professional and genuine passion for delivering exceptional client care.

Responsibilities

• Administering a range of laser and beauty treatments including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, facial treatments and other specialised laser therapies.
• Conducting thorough client consultations to assess skin types, concerns and treatment suitability.
• Following strict health, safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and professional treatment environment.
• Operating laser equipment and beauty therapy machinery safely and effectively in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Providing clients with pre- and post-treatment advice to ensure optimal results and client satisfaction.
• Maintaining detailed client records and tracking treatment progress.
• Contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere that reflects the studio's commitment to excellence.
• Building positive client relationships and recommending appropriate treatment packages or products.
• Participate in ongoing training and personal development.
