Aussie Locums is seeking a locum dual radiographer/sonographer to lead ultrasound services at Bowen Hospital in Bowen, Queensland. You will operate as the primary Sonographer on site, delivering imaging across ED, inpatient and outpatient care with strong autonomy within a small team.

The role offers a coastal lifestyle, with a two-week booking from 12th January to 23rd January. You’ll enjoy a frontline clinical leadership position, handling a varied caseload and working without an on-site

Qualifications

• ASAR-accredited Sonographer.
• Strong scanning ability across obstetrics, general, paediatrics, small parts & vascular.
• Comfortable working without an onsite Radiologist (phone support only).
• Familiarity with hospital systems such as Qdoc, Impax or ieMR desirable.
• Able to meet mandatory training requirements (BLS, manual handling, infection control, OVP) + QLD Health Credentialling.

Responsabilités

• Lead ultrasound services at Bowen Hospital.
• Autonomously manage a varied caseload across ED, inpatient and outpatient services.
• Provide high-quality imaging with frontline clinical leadership.
