You’ll bring solid experience in a small fast-paced café kitchen, excel at organisation and teamwork, and help drive menu ideas while maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a small fast paced café kitchen.
• Solid experience with breakfast and lunch service.
• A genuine love of fresh, quality food.
• Good organisation, communication and time-management skills.
• The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• A positive, hands-on attitude and a commitment to great customer experiences.
• Availability to work weekends as part of the roster.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch service for a very busy coastal café
• Delivering food that is fresh, generous and beautifully presented
• Helping maintain a calm, organised and positive kitchen environment
• Managing preparation, stock control and ordering
• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Reducing waste and supporting efficient kitchen operations
• Working closely with front-of-house team
• Sharing ideas for specials, seasonal dishes and menu improvements
• Following NSW Food Safety Standards at all times
