Job summary

Petstock Penrith is seeking a Dog Bather/Dryer to join our passionate pet-loving team. You’ll bathe and brush dogs, assist customers, and support the grooming and shop floor teams in delivering memorable experiences for pets and people.

We value physical fitness, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays. Training and growth opportunities are available as you develop grooming skills with our Petstock grooming experts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Bathe and brush dogs prior to grooming.
• Assist store shop floor team when required, providing exceptional customer service.
• Physically fit, with ability to lift products and animals up to 20kgs.
• Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding grooming services.
• Support the Senior Groomer in completing daily grooming tasks.
• Bathe and brush dogs prior to grooming.
• Assist store shop floor team when required, providing exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions.
• Assist with the coordination of customer bookings in the grooming salon.
• Ensure the appropriate handling and safe transfer of animals within the store.
• Work with the team to achieve and exceed set sales goals.
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team.
