Pioneer North Queensland Pty Ltd based in North Queensland seeks a motivated Batcher to join our concrete operations. You will batch concrete accurately, coordinate orders, perform pre-start inspections and maintain records to ensure safe, quality products for customers.

This full-time role offers a Monday to Friday roster with overtime, comprehensive training, full PPE, and opportunities for career progression within a safety-first team environment.

Formación

• Previous batching, manufacturing, or logistics experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn plant systems.
• Current Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Loader ticket and operating experience highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the concrete batching system to produce quality concrete products.
• Coordinate concrete orders and customer deliveries.
• Conduct plant and equipment pre-start inspections.
• Complete stock control activities and material reconciliations.
• Operate mobile plant equipment, including loaders.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• General yard duties, housekeeping, and site maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Pioneer North Queensland (PNQ) is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Batcher to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in delivering quality products, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of the concrete plant, ensuring concrete is batched accurately, safely, and delivered to meet customer requirements. No two days are the same, with your responsibilities covering batching operations, customer service, stock control, and site maintenance. This is a full-time position offering consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and ongoing training and development.

Pioneer North Queensland, which has its headquarters in Cairns, operates three quarries in Edmonton, Innisfail and the Tablelands; three sand quarries in Barron, Cairns and the Tablelands; two concrete plants in Cairns and Malanda; an asphalt production plant and asphalt contracting; a spray seal division and a transport division.

We operate a National Association of Testing Authorities accredited laboratory to keep track of the quality of our raw materials and provide a range of testing services to support our customers.
