Heidelberg Materials in Dalby, Queensland, is seeking a reliable Batch Plant Operator. You will help operate the concrete batching plant, move materials with a front-end loader, and perform yard duties as part of a team delivering quality concrete to local customers.

The role involves varied duties, safety compliance and daily coordination of production. The position offers an hourly rate of $43.79-$47.39 with a 45-55 hour work week, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Current Construction White Card, or willingness to obtain one.
• Current HR Licence (preferred).
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the concrete batching plant and coordinate production.
• Operate a front-end loader to move and manage materials.
• Complete stocktakes and monitor material levels.
• Conduct equipment pre-start checks and report maintenance issues.
• Carry out general yard duties, housekeeping and site maintenance.
• Assist with staff rosters and allocation of duties.
• Support purchasing activities and maintain records.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and quality requirements.
• Communicate with customers and support daily delivery operations.
