Job summary

Funlab in Melbourne is seeking Front of House team members for Strike and Archie Brothers at Century City, Glen Waverley. You will deliver memorable guest experiences, drive sales, and work across various roles from bar to reception, bringing energy and top-tier service.

We value inclusivity, wellbeing, and growth, with development opportunities, and a supportive team culture at a seven-day business. weekend/night availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport.
• Ability to engage a diverse range of guests (teens, kids and adults).
• Great availability, must be available on weekends and nights.
• A valid RSA and WWCC or willingness to obtain them.
• Energetic, positive attitude and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with energy and top-tier service mindset.
• Drive sales on every shift – upsell and engage guests.
• Understand daily goals and work with your team to succeed.
• Keep venue well-stocked and ready to impress at all times.
• Be trained in all areas and bring your A game whether behind bar, at reception, or running a function.

• Go above and beyond to anticipate guests’ needs.

What you'll do:

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset
• Drive sales on every shift – smash targets through upselling, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with your team to succeed
• Take pride in your venue, making sure it’s well-stocked and ready to impress at all times
• Own your space! Be trained in all areas and whether you’re behind the bar, at reception, or running a function, you bring your A game!
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe
• Take the opportunities to go above and beyond and anticipate our guests’ needs

What you've got:

• Uniqueness and a passion for fun
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport
