Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking an experienced Bartender to join the Sydney Cidery team at Rydges World Square. You’ll deliver service with flair in a fast-paced, high-end hotel bar, showing product knowledge and engaging with a diverse clientele.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of bar experience, solid knowledge of wine and cocktails, and excellent communication. RSA certification and the ability to multi-task in busy outlets are essential; training will be provided.

• Proven knowledge of wine and cocktails; training provided.
• Personable and able to engage guests, with strong communication.
• Flexible to support different outlets in a hotel setting.
• RSA certification held.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Bartender to join the team at the Sydney Cidery, with a passion for working behind the bar and a love of delivering service with flair and personality. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment and takes pride in their, product knowledge, and ability to engage with a diverse clientele.

Skills & Experience

• 1 - 2 years of experience working in a similar restaurant, hotel or bar environment.
• Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
• Personable, enjoy working in a busy environment and engaging with guests.
• Good communication, a team player and attention to detail.
• Adaptable and the ability to multi-task and anticipate the guests needs.
• Enjoy working in a hotel environment and have flexibility to support different outlets.
• Hold a vailed RSA.

• Deliver exceptional food and beverage service while adhering to all operational, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge and comply with all preparation and dispensing standards.
• Complete all opening, closing, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in all required training sessions to continuously improve service and product knowledge.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
