Gambaro Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender on a casual basis to join the team at Black Hide Queen's Wharf in Brisbane. The role is based at our Queen's Wharf location in Brisbane QLD 4000.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with precision and flair


• Creating classic and contemporary cocktails whilst maintaining consistency and quality standards


• Providing knowledgeable recommendations on spirits, wines and beers to enhance the guest experience


• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe bar environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations


• Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and processing payments securely


• Engaging with guests in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times


• Collaborating with bar staff and other team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods


• Restocking bar supplies and monitoring inventory levels


• Adhering to responsible service of alcohol practices and all relevant venue policies

What we're looking for

• Proven experience (more than 1 year) working as a bartender in a high-volume or premium hospitality venue, preferably with cocktail experience


• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers and cocktail preparation techniques


• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner


• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures


• A thorough understanding of responsible service of alcohol practices and relevant legislation


• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, multi-tasking during peak service times


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene


• Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays


• Relevant hospitality certifications, specifically RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and Food Safety Certificate is a must.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
