Vanuatu Police is seeking a bartender to deliver excellent service by crafting cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and speed.

You will verify ages, manage cash transactions, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar while following standard recipes and quality control. Previous bar experience is preferred and flexibility for peak shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous bartending experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Description

Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service by mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar. He/she must ensure that guests are served promptly and all drinks are prepared to the highest quality standards. The Bartender also maintains accurate records of orders, inventory, and cash transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests to the bar and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages as requested.
• Check guests' identification and ensure that they are of a legal drinking age.
• Ensure that the bar area is clean and organized at all times.
• Stock the bar with supplies, including beverages, garnishes, ice, and glassware.
• Receive and manage cash transactions according to established policies.
• Maintain a detailed inventory of alcohol products and supplies.
• Follow standard recipes to ensure consistent quality of drinks.
• Check guests for overall satisfaction and handle any concerns.

Qualifications:
