Qualifications

  • 2–3 years' experience in customer service, hospitality, café, reception, or front-of-house environments.
  • Proven barista experience with the ability to prepare high-quality specialty coffee.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with basic administrative systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to Members, Visitors, and Clients at all times.
  • Develop strong relationships with Members and understand their businesses and individual needs.
  • Respond to enquiries professionally, promptly, and with a hospitality-focused approach.
  • Welcome guests and ensure a positive and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
  • Act as a key point of contact for centre-related enquiries and support requests.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages.
  • Deliver professional café-style hospitality services throughout the centre.
  • Manage daily reception operations, including greeting visitors and answering enquiries.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared to a high standard.
  • Manage mail, couriers, access cards and registers; update CRM systems.
  • Support member onboarding, inductions, and offboarding processes.

Job Description

The Barista / Customer Service Representative is the welcoming face and central support of the company's flexible workspace environments. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, creating positive member experiences, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre.

Combining premium customer service with high-quality barista expertise, the successful candidate will support Members, Visitors, and Clients while maintaining professional reception operations and fostering a vibrant workplace community.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Member Experience
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to Members, Visitors, and Clients at all times.
  • Develop strong relationships with Members and gain an understanding of their businesses and individual needs.
  • Respond to enquiries professionally, promptly, and with a hospitality-focused approach.
  • Welcome guests and ensure a positive and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
  • Act as a key point of contact for centre-related enquiries and support requests.
Barista & Hospitality Services
  • Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee and beverages.
  • Deliver professional café-style hospitality services throughout the centre.
  • Manage coffee service requirements for meetings, events, and client visits.
  • Ensure café and hospitality areas are clean, organised, and well-stocked.
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards.
Reception & Administration
  • Manage daily reception operations, including answering enquiries and greeting visitors.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared to a high standard.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, access cards, keys, and registers.
  • Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems and company databases.
  • Support member onboarding, inductions, and offboarding processes in accordance with company procedures.
Centre Operations
  • Complete centre opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure all communal areas and facilities are maintained to a high presentation standard.
  • Monitor centre functionality and report maintenance issues as required.
  • Liaise with building management and contractors to ensure timely resolution of facility concerns.
  • Assist with stock management, ordering, and inventory control.
Community & Events
  • Support the promotion and delivery of networking events, member activities, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with event coordination, setup, execution, and pack-down.
  • Help foster a collaborative, welcoming, and professional community environment.
  • Encourage member participation and engagement within the centre.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Business Centre Manager and other internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support across multiple locations when required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork to meet operational needs.
