Job summary

Beehive Business Services (Demo) is seeking a motivated Barista for a full-time, permanent role in Brisbane. You will craft a variety of coffee beverages, ensure fast, friendly service, and maintain a clean, welcoming station for customers.

Key responsibilities include handling cash, training new staff, managing stock levels, and upholding health and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating areas.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and responding to their needs.
• Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate till operations.
• Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation and customer service standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food and beverage preparation.
