Job summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a friendly, skilled Barista to join our hospitality team in Sydney. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Barista or in a café/restaurant/hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of espresso-based beverages and milk steaming.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain commercial coffee equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare espresso-based drinks (Americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, macchiato, etc.).
• Steam and texture milk to required temperature and presentation.
• Assist with food prep, serving, clearing tables, and cafe operations as needed.
• Support opening/closing duties including cleaning, stock replenishment, and workstation prep.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and team to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain professional appearance and high standard of customer service.
