Job summary

Degani Café Forest Lake is seeking an experienced Barista / Café All-Rounder for an immediate start. The role is casual/part-time at a newly opened Forest Lake café known for great coffee, quality food and friendly service.

You will prepare and serve high-quality coffee, take orders, and assist with general café operations in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean workspace and strong presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience in a busy café environment.
• Strong coffee-making skills including espresso extraction and milk texturing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Degani Forest Lake is a newly opened café in Forest Lake, known for great coffee, quality food, and friendly customer service. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team for an immediate start.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing excellent coffee, and thrives as part of a supportive team.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee consistently throughout service
• Taking customer orders and providing friendly, professional service
• Assisting with general café operations and maintaining a clean workspace
• Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Ensuring all drinks meet our high coffee and presentation standards

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

• Ability to remain calm and efficient during peak service periods

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
