Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine hairstyle and grooming needs.
• Shampoo, condition, cut, trim, and style hair, beards, and moustaches.
• Use tools and equipment including clippers, scissors, combs, and hair dryers.
• Apply styling, grooming, and aftercare products to hair and beards.
• Perform facial waxing and provide face, neck, and scalp massages.
• Promote barbering services and retail products to clients.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic workplace, ensure equipment is sanitised and supplies are stocked.
• Ensure shelves are stocked at all times.

Your responsibilities as a barber at Lux Barbers

• Consult with clients to determine their preferred hairstyle and grooming needs.
• Shampoo, condition, cut, trim, and style hair, beards, and moustaches.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including clippers, scissors, combs, and hair dryers.
• Apply styling, grooming, and aftercare products to hair and beards.
• Perform facial waxing and provide face, neck, and scalp massages.

Skills and qualifications

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering is preferable
• At least 3 years of experience as a barber in a similar setting
• Ability to operate the shop independently when needed
