Job summary

Andaz Gold Coast, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, seeks a confident Bar Team Leader to guide colleagues and craft memorable experiences across vibrant venues. You’ll be hands-on, guest-focused and passionate about thoughtful service, cocktails and stories behind every pour.

Lead bar service with warmth, support the Bar Manager, and coach teammates to maintain high beverage standards while ensuring a warm, engaging guest atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or senior bar role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beverage service.
• A calm, organised approach in a fast-paced environment.
• A natural ability to coach, motivate and inspire colleagues.
• A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Must already have ongoing working rights for Australia.

• Monitor stock levels, minimise wastage and support accurate beverage controls.
• Respond to guest feedback and service challenges with calm, considered solutions.
• Help create an energetic bar environment where colleagues feel supported and guests feel at home.
